THE REV. JULIE LUNA
Rector
The Rev. Julie Luna was called to St. Nicholas in 2019 after completing her M.Div. at Luther Seminary. She loves making connections between the English and Spanish speakers as St. Nicholas strives to build God’s Beloved Community in our neighborhood. Julie is married to Ernesto and they have two fabulous children, Elena and Benjamin. When Julie is not at church, she enjoys gardening, knitting, sharing meals with friends, and hanging out with her family.

CLARA ELISABETH SANDERS
Music Director
Clara has been involved in church music since childhood and previously served as music director at Saint Titus Episcopal Church, Durham, NC. Clara holds degrees in piano performance and intercultural studies and received a Master of Divinity from Duke Divinity School and Master of Social Work from UNC Chapel Hill. During the week, Clara works as a membership organizer for a sustainable agriculture nonprofit. She is also in formation for ordination to the priesthood in The Episcopal Church. Clara lives in south Minneapolis with her three children, Cyprian, Rosemary, and Elijah, along with many pets, plants, and baked goods.

La Reverenda Julie Luna fue llamada a San Nicolás en 2019 después de completar su M.Div. en el Seminario Lutero. Le encanta hacer conexiones entre los hablantes de inglés y español mientras San Nicolás se esfuerza por construir la Amada Comunidad de Dios en nuestro vecindario. Julie está casada con Ernesto y tienen dos hijos fabulosos, Elena y Benjamín. Cuando Julie no está en la iglesia, le gusta hacer jardinería, tejer, compartir comidas con amigos y salir con su familia.
